Over the recent break, Vicky Leighton, Terry Byers and Dr Tom Perry (from Warwick University, UK) sat down with author and researcher Ollie Lovell on his Education Research Reading Room (ERRR) podcast. The podcast has hosted education leaders and researchers global and presents as one of the leading voices for evidence-informed education. The podcast focuses on the development, evaluation and refinement of the A Learner’s Toolkit program and its growing impact within other schools, both locally and nationally. The interview highlighted the difficulties in training students to use more efficient and effective strategies and why they tend to stick with existing habits and techniques.
