The next featured Workshop focuses on Learning How to Learn: The Power of Action Research to Promote Student Self-Regulated Learning from Estee Stephenson from the St Andrew’s Cathedral School in Sydney.

This session will examine the outcomes of a two-phase action research project, conducted over 2 years, where students across the high school were invited to participate in a program to develop their self-regulated learning and learning how to learn skills. Estee will share information on the development of the initiative and the process of gaining support and the outcome of the initial research project, which has been expanded in 2023 to include all students in Years 7 -11. The presentation will conclude with future steps and provide guidance to other schools that would like to implement a similar initiative.
